On the occasion of the Lausanne Cathedral's 750 year anniversary, this fold out guide explains how and why this and other early gothic cathedrals were build in the 13th century and why it is a continuous construction site to this day. One of the reasons: the sandstone used needs to be replaced after a certain time due to erosion.
